Our annual fundraiser was a huge success again!
Thanks to the volunteers who put it together, the staff of the Ship Victory who work so hard to make our event possible and the guests who make it work.
Joanne Bernard and Geoff Regan spoke eloquently about the Liberal values that bind us all together and the upcoming federal election. Joanne shared with us news of her trip to Ottawa and the need for an inquiry into missing and murdered indigenous women. As well, the Between the Bridges program that will be coming to Dartmouth North to address the ongoing deficits in learning and social development for Dartmouth North youth.
Geoff Regan compared the compassion of Joanne Bernard to the divisive policies of the Harper Government and the need for Hope and Hard Work ahead.
