Vaping Restrictions Aimed at Protecting Health
The government has listened to advice from the health community as alarm about the increasing number of youth vaping in Nova Scotia grows.
That is why Nova Scotia will ban the sale of flavoured e-cigarettes and juices.
Nova Scotia is a leader among Canadian provinces in announcing changes to address vaping and is the only province to announce a complete ban of flavoured products.
The Ban comes into effect April 1, 2020.

Our Commitment to Education
Since being elected to govern Nova Scotia in 2013, our Liberal government has expanded spending on Education by about 30%.
This new funding has allowed us to put new resources into the classroom. We have added over 900 new teachers and added new non-teaching positions to improve education for the kids by lowering the size of classes.
Our Liberal Government has done all of these things while balancing the provincial budget!
Bringing More Doctors and Specialists to Nova Scotia
Healthcare professionals are the backbone of our healthcare system. Hundreds of new family doctors and specialists have been recruited to practice in Nova Scotia, but there is still work to do.
Happy Canada Day!
