Dartmouth Waterfront Plans

Pam Cooley, President of the Dartmouth North Liberal Association was in attendance with hundreds of Dartmouth residents to hear about plans for the future of the Dartmouth Waterfront.


The planning process has been ongoing for years, and the public is encouraged to participate and contribute their thoughts on the plan.

2018 Breakfast News

 

We are pleased to announce that Kelly Regan will be our guest speaker for the latest edition of our Annual Breakfast happening on March 3, 2018.Kelly-Regan
Events get underway at 9 am at the Ship Victory Restaurant and Lounge, 400 Windmill Road, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia B3A1J7

 

New this year will be our first ever Humorous story contest.

The winner will receive the accolades of a friendly audience, the not winners will receive the accolades of a less friendly but not hostile audience.

To participate just email Jim Goddard at jwgoddard@gmail.com, we can accommodate only 5 participants so don’t dawdle.

The rules:

You get 3 minutes to speak which includes any spectacular light or video displays you include.
(No live fireworks, small children or animals will be permitted as props)
You will get a timers warning with 30 seconds and again with 10 seconds to go in your time and at the end of 3 minutes, the microphone will go dead.

 

 

CEED March Break Juniorpreneur Camp

 

Juniorpreneur Camp offers a five-day interactive entrepreneurship camp designed for youth in grades 4 through 7. Campers develop new skills and strengthen existing ones with activities involving experiential learning, global thinking, social entrepreneurship, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math). Participants learn to pitch ideas, problem-solve and compete against each other in teams!

Registration is now open! The camp runs from March 12-16 between the hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the CEED Office located at 225-7071 Bayers Rd. The cost of the camp is $225. Space is limited and spots fill up quickly, so register today or pass this information along to anyone you believe would be interested to secure a spot!

2017 Breakfast and Art Auction

The Annual Breakfast and Auction has come and gone for another year and was a great success. We all had some fun and raised raised some money but more importantly we honoured Mary Clancy and renewed friendships.
