The recent report “Raise the Bar” by Dr. Glaze is just the most recent opinion that identifies the need for system-wide change in our provincial schools.
We all want what is best for the education of every child in Nova Scotia, but previous governments have failed to meet the challenges required to achieve that. Now we find ourselves at the point again where decisions have to be made and choices defined.
Our government has recognized the need to invest in Dartmouth North Schools thanks to the great work of our former member of the Legislature, the Hon. Joanne Bernard and our association is committed to working with the government to make the changes necessary.
